## Description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our team in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

- Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and budgets to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making.

- Collaborate with external accounting partners to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.

- Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury functions.

- Supervise and manage payroll processes in conjunction with the People & Development team and payroll provider.

- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing processes to ensure timely and accurate transaction processing.

- Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors and the New York corporate office.

- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and management teams.

- Monitor and evaluate financial performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks.

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in finance and accounting.

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.

- Minimum 5 years of financial or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

- Extensive knowledge of Mexican accounting and tax regulations.

- Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting in the hospitality industry.

- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

- Fluency in Spanish and English.
