## Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Member of Data Staff (Data Acceleration) to join our Data Science team at Perplexity. This role involves building AI agents and internal systems that can handle end-to-end analysis workflows, leveraging AI to fundamentally change how data science gets done.

The successful candidate will have 6+ years of experience in data science, analytics engineering, or data engineering. They will possess deep SQL and analytics judgment, strong product sense, hands-on LLM experience, pipeline and modeling fluency, and a builder mentality.

Key responsibilities include:

- Building AI agents that do data science, not just SQL copilots

- Making AI systems query the warehouse reliably

- Accelerating the AI-native data workflow

- Automating the data lifecycle

- Shipping AI-powered experiment analysis

- Turning the data team into a product team

- Owning the full lifecycle of AI systems
