Astranis builds advanced satellites for high orbits, expanding humanity's reach into the solar system.

As a Network Planning Sales Engineer Associate (Winter 2027), you will work on pre-sales and post-sales network architecture and planning, optimizing high throughput satellite networks by understanding and trading dozens of parameters.

Responsibilities:

- Optimize systems by juggling many variables, considering all options, running a detailed trade study

- Analyze digital payload configuration, orbital slot selection and frequency planning, antenna system optimization, user coverage area definition, gateway location(s) selection, user terminal selection, and networking/modem equipment selection and configuration

- Work in a fast-paced environment with a balance of technical and business/customer-facing responsibilities

- Receive 1:1 mentorship from a senior, seasoned sales engineer

Requirements:

- Strong ability to optimize systems

- Process-oriented mindset

- Scripting language experience, preferably Python

- Enjoy a fast-paced environment

Bonus skills:

- Knack for math

- Ability to craft high-quality presentations and deliver them to potential partners

- Willingness to travel

The base salary for this position is $1,925 per week.

U.S. Citizenship, Lawful Permanent Residency, or Refugee/Asylee Status Required.
