## Description

GSK is seeking a Field Sales Representative to be based in Coimbatore, India. As a Field Sales Representative, you will build trusted, professional relationships with healthcare partners by sharing clear, science-based information. You will design and deliver a territory plan focused on local needs and customer insight. Working closely with colleagues across teams, you will help address challenges and improve patient access.

Responsibilities:

- Build and maintain respectful, professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and other healthcare partners in your territory.

- Develop and execute a territory business plan based on customer insight and local patient needs.

- Share clear and accurate science-based information to support healthcare professionals’ decision-making.

- Record and report activities, outcomes, and customer insights accurately using company systems and tools.

- Collaborate with colleagues across functions to address customer needs and improve patient access.

- Continuously expand your knowledge of clinical evidence, market trends, and ways to enhance your performance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised institution.

- Minimum 1 year of customer-facing experience in field sales, medical business, or territory management.

- Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly within the territory.

- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Tamil; knowledge of other local languages spoken in Coimbatore is a plus.

- Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Right to work in India.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Previous experience in pharmaceutical, medical, or healthcare-related roles.

- Comfortable discussing clinical evidence and explaining scientific concepts to healthcare professionals.

- Strong planning, organisation, and time management skills.

- Ability to use customer insight and simple data to guide your activities and priorities.

- Fluency in Tamil and local languages spoken in and around Coimbatore.

- High motivation to learn, adapt, and take on increasing responsibility.
