## Description

As a Solutions Engineer at Okta, you will focus on being a customer-facing solution engineer crafting identity and security solutions for commercial segments in the US.

You will support customers along their sales journey by demonstrating the value of Okta technology through live demos and sales presentations.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Selling directly to IT managers, developers, product managers, and senior executives across various industries

- Focusing on Okta Workforce Identity solutions and modelling how they will support customers' current architecture requirements and use cases

- Executing well-defined, outcome-focused Proof of Concepts (POCs)

- Maintaining a broad and deep technical understanding of the Okta product line and underlying technologies and protocols

- Participating in local and regional events as a presenter and attendee

Requirements:

- Ability to work in the US time zone (PST)

- Minimum 5 years of experience in IAM or a related SaaS field as a pre-sales engineer

- Expertise or hands-on experience in IAM, single sign-on, multi-factor authentication, passwordless authentication, universal directory, privileged access, and device access

- Experience working with REST APIs and SDKs

- Strong communication and presentation skills, including whiteboarding and product demonstrations

- Experience in a customer-facing role such as consulting, customer support, or pre-sales
