## Description

Join our team as a part-time CT Technologist at Layton Hospital. You'll perform diagnostic CT exams, work with radiologists and physicians, and ensure high-quality imaging results. Qualified applicants may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Responsibilities:

- Perform diagnostic CT exams using specialised equipment

- Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and patient preparation

- Review images for quality, clarity, and accuracy

- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment

- Complete studies within acceptable time limits without compromising patient care or quality

- Assist and instruct students and other CT Technologists in exam protocols and procedures

- Provide patient education and address concerns

- Practice infection control and sterile techniques

- Operate CT equipment and related information systems

- Keep accurate records of patient information and procedures performed

Requirements:

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or modality-specific competency

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- Applicable State License

- 1+ year of CT experience (preferred)

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Computed Tomography Certification/Registration (ARRT)(RT)(CT) (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, and assess patient needs

- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors

- Manual dexterity to manipulate complex equipment with precision and accuracy

- Ability to lift and transfer patients, bend to retrieve supplies and equipment, and navigate crowded rooms
