## Description

Cohere is seeking a Member of Technical Staff, Training Infra Engineer to contribute to and provide strong support for model training pipelines, ship state-of-the-art models to production, and bridge the gap between research and production.

The successful candidate will design and write high-performant and scalable software for training, improve the training setup from an infrastructure and codebase performance standpoint, craft and implement tools to speed up training cycles, and research, implement, and experiment with ideas on supercompute and data infrastructure.

The role offers a salary range of CA$250K - CA$535K, depending on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience. The ideal candidate will have extremely strong software engineering skills, proficiency in Python and related ML frameworks such as JAX, Pytorch, and XLA/MLIR, experience with distributed training infrastructures and associated frameworks, and hands-on experience training large models at scale.
