## Description

Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks an Infrastructure Engineering Senior Advisor for the Raleigh, NC location to provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Infrastructure matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the lead technical consultant responsible for design, engineering, and development of information technology solutions.

- Lead the design, analysis, development, and implementation of engineering infrastructure solutions for complex business projects and work requests.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure compatibility issues based on system architecture, project requirements, and customer expectations.

- Create design specifications and develop utility programs, and resolve escalated infrastructure compatibility problems.

- Conduct risk assessments, partner on capacity planning, budget forecasting, and diagnose and correct application/network problems.

- Serve as the primary contact for vendors.

- Work with various technologies spanning mainframe, midrange, desktop, server, network data, voice, messaging, web, database, and output/receiving.

- Provide thought leadership and technical expertise across multiple disciplines.

- Be recognized internally as 'the go-to person' for the most complex Infrastructure Engineering assignments.

- Work on a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of experience, or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience.

- Experience with software development, platform engineering, Linux, Windows, Oracle, PostgreSQL, database performance tuning, AWS, data replication tools, Splunk, Dynatrace, service metrics dashboard creation, product lifecycle management, product upgrades, troubleshooting data mismatch issues, hybrid cloud environment management, network encryption setup, and security compliance.
