## Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Engineer, Build and DevOps - ADI to join its Analytics and Data Intelligence Engineering Operations team. The successful candidate will support multiple engineering teams working on data science libraries such as RAPIDS, an open-source suite for GPU-accelerated data science.

The role involves working closely with RAPIDS build and development teams to ensure high-quality releases of CUDA/C++ and Python libraries as well as containers. Key responsibilities include:

- Managing cutting-edge hardware and informing purchasing decisions for the team

- Collaborating with build engineers, developers, and management to deliver high-quality software

- Developing and modernizing packages for RAPIDS data science libraries

- Designing and maintaining container build processes

- Implementing DevOps best practices

- Executing on a range of DevOps initiatives including CI/CD, observability, security/legal compliance, and SysAdmin tasks

- Operating and maintaining infrastructure and development processes

The ideal candidate will have:

- A Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent experience

- 8+ years of technical experience primarily related to DevOps

- Proven experience in programming and automation with scripting languages (Bash and Python preferred)

- Experience with Conda and/or PyPI packaging, container technologies such as Docker, and CI/CD tools (including Jenkins, Git, GitHub Actions)

- Linux system administration experience (Ubuntu strongly preferred)

- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, and others), especially permissions, budget, and cost management
