## Description

We are seeking a Data Protection Officer to oversee our data protection strategy and ensure adherence to regulations and the Data Protection Act.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing data privacy policies, procedures, and monitoring adherence to these policies across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

- Identifying and assessing potential risks related to data privacy and implementing measures to mitigate these risks

- Developing and implementing an effective incident response plan for data breaches

- Providing data privacy training and awareness to employees

- Identifying areas for improvement and implementing enhancements to the data privacy programme

- Developing and implementing Barclays' Data Privacy strategy aligned with the bank's business objectives and regulatory requirements

As a Vice President, you will be expected to contribute to setting strategy, driving requirements, and making recommendations for change.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge of local regulations, ability to manage relationships with regulators, and previous experience working as a Data Protection Officer within the local market.

This role is based in Monaco and requires fluent French and English speakers.
