## Description

We are seeking an Actuary to join our team at AIA, a leading organisation focused on creating a healthier, more sustainable future for everyone.

The successful candidate will manage the business-as-usual regular financial closing and analysis for Macau statutory reporting, provide management support on senior management reporting and regulatory filing and analysis, and manage other initiatives and projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Regular Financial Closing: managing reserve and capital requirement calculations, ensuring proper control and performing analysis on reserves, capital requirements and solvency

- Senior Management Reporting: preparing materials to provide insightful information about statutory valuation and regulatory-related topics

- Audit management: preparing audit materials and ensuring proper documents are shared with auditors

- Governance and Compliance: ensuring proper valuation governance and compliance with regulations and internal policies

- Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Regulatory Filing: providing management support to regulatory filing and analysis

- Actuarial Initiatives/Projects: managing tasks such as impact assessments of changes in assumptions, methodologies and models

Requirements:

- University/College graduate in Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Statistics, Business Administration or related subject with at least 4 years' experience in the life insurance industry

- Good progression in Actuarial professional examination

- Good people management and analytical skills

- Strong communication and presentation skills

- Ability to deal with and handle multiple priorities

- Solid experience and knowledge in insurance products, corporate actuarial work, statutory basis reporting and regulatory filing

- Proficiency in MS Office, with knowledge of Actuarial Software (e.g., Prophet) being an advantage
