## Description

We are seeking a Middle C++ Developer to join the Systems department, focusing on creating and improving embedded software for Ajax devices.

The Systems team is responsible for developing and maintaining the Ajax software ecosystem, including OS Malevich and Video Management System, building scalable cloud infrastructure, and creating client applications for various platforms.

Responsibilities:

- Support good technical culture with tests and Continuous Deployment (CD)

- Collaborate with the team to continue working on a new product using video cameras for security tasks combined with traditional security sensors

- Develop engineering practices and improve code quality

- Participate in discussions on new product functionality and contribute to product development as part of the system

Requirements:

- 4+ years of C++ experience (C++11/C++14)

- Knowledge of Linux systems, bash, and Linux kernel principles

- Experience with Boost, particularly boost.asio

- Understanding of process, thread, and asynchronous processing principles

- Ability to write modular/integration tests (TDD culture is a plus)

- Proficiency in git, cmake, and gdb

- Practical experience designing and developing large systems

Nice to have:

- Experience with embedded systems and systems with limited computational resources

- Experience with video streaming

- Expert-level knowledge of signal transmission protocols and data streaming (RTSP)

- Detailed knowledge of RTP/RTCP protocol and stack

- Familiarity with video codec formats HEVC, H.264

- Experience with GRPC/web sockets, WebRTC, GST, LiveMedia, Video codecs/playback

- Experience with multimedia packaging formats like HLS, DASH, and encryption

- Experience with critical video applications and standards

- Familiarity with open-source libraries like ffmpeg and OpenCV

- Practical experience using and integrating open-source technologies

- Experience implementing video processing pipelines for multimedia programs
