## Description

As a Business Manager, Payment Experiences at Capital One, you will apply your strategic and analytical skills to major company challenges.

You will focus on strategy and analytics to drive the feature priorities of the Checking portfolio, including segment-level needs assessments, competitive analysis, and feature business cases.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing business strategies that drive growth, profitability, and competitive success

- Leading and managing analysts, with a goal of developing and retaining talent

- Developing and implementing new product and pricing strategies

- Leading direct-to-consumer marketing efforts and building targeted insights to inform the design and development of new customer experiences

- Driving step-change improvements in credit performance

- Managing and sequencing delivery of business intent, building business requirements, and executing against the product strategy

- Working closely with colleagues across Capital One to drive improvement in quality, volume, service, and profitability

The ideal candidate will have:

- At least 3 years of professional experience performing analysis

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field

- Strong business judgment, leadership, and integrity

- Solid people leadership experience

- Strong executive communication skills

- A clear results orientation

- A successful track record of thriving in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and dynamic environment

In terms of qualifications, Capital One is looking for:

- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Business, Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field

- A Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred qualifications include:

- A Master's Degree in Business or a quantitative field

- 5+ years of experience in analysis

- 2+ years of experience in financial services

- 1+ year of experience in consulting

- 2+ years of experience in people management

In terms of salary, Capital One is offering a range of $164,800 - $188,100 for Business Managers in McLean, VA, and $179,700 - $205,100 for Business Managers in New York, NY.

This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonuses and/or long-term incentives.
