## Description

Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our team at Anduril Industries. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and testing advanced mechanical systems for our defence technology products.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and develop mechanical systems, including mechanisms, structures, and thermal management systems

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical systems with electrical and software components

- Conduct testing and validation of mechanical systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements

- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the defence or aerospace industry

- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, including mechanics of materials, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as SolidWorks or CATIA

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

- Experience with simulation tools, such as ANSYS or COMSOL

- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, including machining, casting, and welding
