## Description

We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst to join our Due Diligence team at our Penang office.

As a Senior Research Analyst, you will provide research and business insights to customers, enabling them to handle reputational and legal risks.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Conduct media and Internet searches on companies and individuals in English and a secondary language

- Search official sources for information gathering

- Work with external vendors and provide training and feedback to improve quality

- Analyse collected information for reputational, financial, and integrity risk

- Assist in training and guiding new hires in research work

- Communicate and share methods for success with the team and department

- Attend to sophisticated and special client requests

- Assist the Team Leader/Research Manager in people management

- Work closely with report/case partners to ensure completion of reports meeting client requirements

- Work with immediate team members and other team members across the RDD organisation

- Be a point of contact for particular subject matter or knowledge expertise

**Qualifications/Skills:**

- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in international relations, political science, legal studies, or business management

- Good command of English and Korean language; additional South-East Asian languages an advantage

- Compliance, due diligence, AML/KYC, or third-party risk management experience

- Excellent written and critical thinking skills

- Strong research skills, including online search tools

- Strong editing and proofreading skills

- Flexibility and adaptability to change

- Excellent organisation and interpersonal skills

- Ability to meet strict timelines and balance multiple projects simultaneously

- Team-player with a high level of initiative and proactive approach to work

- Knowledge and curiosity about current international news and affairs

- Proactive in team management and problem solving

This role is on a blended work model with 3 days working in office and 2 days remotely.
