## Description

Join Agoda as a Data Pipeline Intern and work on large-scale data pipelines, big data, and distributed systems. You'll have the opportunity to work with technologies such as Apache Kafka, Elasticsearch, Hadoop, Object Storage, Spark, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Responsibilities:

- Learn about Agoda's systems and go through onboarding courses

- Choose which components to work on based on your interests

- Work with a mentor to decide on an internship project and go through the full development cycle

- Take a project from ideation to production, including developing a proof of concept, writing tests, building dashboards, and deploying to production

Requirements:

- Undergraduate or graduate in an IT-related or computer science field

- Proficient in at least one of the following languages: Java, C#, Go, Python, JavaScript + React

- Good communication skills, fast learner, positive and open attitude

- Ability to work independently and as a team player

- Strong English speaking and writing skills

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge and experience in big data, such as Hadoop, Kafka, Elasticsearch, Docker, and Kubernetes
