## Description

In this role, you will produce the daily and weekly production schedules for final, sub-assembly and machining (Volume/Mix/Sequence) and utilize the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule assembly lines and to communicate to customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Producing the daily and weekly production schedules for final, sub-assembly and machining (Volume/Mix/Sequence)

- Utilizing the Common Material Management System (CMMS) Inventory Management System to schedule assembly lines and to communicate to customers Sterling shipping intentions

- Following up on VO shipments and distributions daily

- Supporting final balance outs and running changes to customers

- Tracking daily shipping status, daily parts follow-up and min/max reporting to support production schedule

- Coordinating shipments to and from local suppliers / warehouses

- Correcting shipping transactions and monitoring/validating production counts and scrap transactions

- Providing MP&L team with daily line-ups

- Performing cycle count analysis and control CMMS cycle entry

- Coordinating special counts to assure actual physical inventory balances match inventory records

- Assisting with plant cycle schedule and count confirmation

- Responding to VO/PTO schedule changes, react to quality, shipping, and schedule changes

- Assisting in managing bailment activities as the need arises

- Assisting in backing up MP&L salaried personnel as required

- Working in a rotating shift environment – Weekend Shift (C-Crew)

## Skills

### Required
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Material Planning and Logistics, Business, Engineering, Manufacturing or Packaging
- Proven track record of successfully interacting with plant hourly and salaried personnel, logistic carriers, and production suppliers
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- One or more years' experience with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint)
- Prior experience utilizing ERP systems
- Prior experience with data analytics tools
- Strong analytical skills and quick decision-making capability
- Validated ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Experience in Material Planning and Logistics experience desired
- Self-starter, with a history of working under tight deadlines
