## Description

Join Respawn Entertainment, a leading game development studio, as a Gameplay Engineer on the Apex Legends team. You'll work on developing features, maintaining and improving the existing codebase, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to make Apex more accessible and fun.

Responsibilities:

- Develop features that bring the vision of Designers into the game.

- Maintain and improve existing codebase and systems.

- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, including code and script reviews.

- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on ways to make Apex more accessible and fun.

- Collaborate with Production on sprint goals and write technical design documents.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in software development engineering on gameplay teams.

- Shipped multiplayer video game titles.

- Experience working on Live Service video game titles.

- Experience working with a large codebase, managing and improving performance and budget.

- Advanced C++/C skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training and professional experience.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary range: $104,500 - $142,800 CAD (British Columbia) or $120,600 - $184,000 USD (California).
