## Description

We are seeking a Manager Software Engineering to lead and develop an engineering team delivering production systems and high-volume applications.

You will work across Engineering, Product, and Design, helping the team deliver commitments, solve complex technical challenges, and build expertise in Java, Springboot, and GEN AI.

Responsibilities:

- Empower, guide, and maximize a team of mission-driven engineers to solve challenging problems.

- Collaborate with Engineering leadership and cross-functional partners to establish roadmaps and strategy.

- Contribute to technical development and discussions as necessary.

- Deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

- Successfully partner and lead resources in solving complex business needs.

- Carry out management responsibilities in accordance with the organisation's policies, procedures, and applicable laws.

- Ensure all staff is provided with training and resources needed to perform their jobs.

- Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations.

Requirements:

- Experience with technologies mainly focused on Java and Springboot background in addition to GEN AI exposure.

- Background in the healthcare space or related field is an added advantage with at least 4+ years of team lead or engineering management experience.

- Advanced understanding of modern software development practices and methodologies.

- Experience directly working on or managing teams working on production systems and high-volume applications.

- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all stakeholders.

- Strong skills in setting, communicating, implementing, and achieving business objectives and goals.

- Strong organisation/project planning, time management, and change management skills.

- Advanced problem-solving experience involving leading teams in identifying, researching, and coordinating the resources necessary to effectively troubleshoot/diagnose complex project issues.
