## Description

Capital One is seeking a technical Senior Director, Cybersecurity Product Manager to deliver game-changing cybersecurity solutions based on threat, data, and design thinking.

As a Senior Director, Cyber Security Product Manager, you will develop and communicate a technology-first, risk-based, and data-driven strategy and roadmap for enterprise security services, solutions, and capabilities. You will partner closely with engineering and operations partners, customers, and other stakeholders to analyze and select alternatives based on threat, risk, desirability, feasibility, and viability.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop and communicate a technology-first, risk-based, and data-driven strategy and roadmap for enterprise security services, solutions, and capabilities

- Partner closely with engineering and operations partners, customers, and other stakeholders

- Analyze and select alternatives based on threat, risk, desirability, feasibility, and viability

- Keep abreast of advances in industry to address the threat landscape

- Facilitate build vs. buy decisions to identify optimal strategies for addressing business and technology risks

- Maintain technical and risk credibility with your own team and with partners across the enterprise

- Maintain close ties to various stakeholders, developers, and engineers across the company

- Iterate quickly and see the products through to production and scale

- Establish product value propositions, metrics, and key indicators

- Recruit, motivate, mentor, and lead those around you to be their best

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree

- At least 11 years of experience in cybersecurity or information technology

- At least 10 years of experience evaluating, contributing to, or supporting development of cybersecurity capabilities

- Strong technical cybersecurity and analytical skills

- Ability to foster collaborative, open, working relationships with technology groups and other stakeholders

- Demonstrated clear communication skills and ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization

- Experience managing multiple high-visibility and high-impact enterprise cybersecurity projects with cross-functional teams

- Operated successfully in a product-led technology environment

- Passion for cybersecurity

Preferred qualifications:

- 11+ years of experience with cybersecurity frameworks and concepts such as NIST CSF, MITRE ATT&CK, CMMC, FedRAMP, etc.

- 11+ years of experience performing analysis of or developing solutions for cyber threats, vulnerabilities, risks, or events

- 11+ years of experience working on teams and presenting to stakeholders cybersecurity information

- 8+ years of experience working in multi-cloud environments

- 10+ years of experience using security tools

- 7+ years of people management experience

- 5+ years of experience developing or interpreting cybersecurity metrics or dashboards

- 6+ years of experience developing and overseeing cybersecurity or technology risk programs
