## Description

As a Senior Energy Market Analyst with Energy Exemplar's APAC Solutions team, you will engage with clients to increase sales and deliver technical work.

The role involves driving growth in APAC markets, identifying customer use cases, and developing go-to-market strategies.

Key responsibilities:

- Lead technical discussions and provide strategic modeling insights to clients.

- Develop and validate complex optimization models tailored to customer needs.

- Guide junior analysts and provide mentorship in modeling best practices.

- Conduct in-depth research on policy impacts, market developments, and emerging technologies.

- Manage project lifecycles, from scoping to delivery, ensuring customer success.

- Collaborate with the product development team to enhance software capabilities.

Requirements:

- Deep knowledge of energy markets and associated economics.

- Expertise in model setup, custom configurations, and troubleshooting.

- Experience in scripting, automation, and integrating market datasets.

- Ability to communicate complex subject matter in an easy-to-understand manner.

- Strong commercial awareness.

- Top-down approach to problem-solving.

- Strong interpersonal presence and skills.

- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Qualifications:

- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.

- 5+ years of experience in energy market modeling, forecasting, or optimization.

- Extensive experience in PLEXOS or similar optimization software.

- Strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
