This 18-month development programme is designed to develop your technical knowledge, professional skills, and confidence to kick-start your career in insurance. As an apprentice, you will work in a permanent role from day one, completing an 18-month development programme designed to develop your technical knowledge, professional skills, and confidence to kick-start your career. You will begin with a structured induction before joining our Personal Lines team, where you will work alongside experienced colleagues and gradually take on more responsibility. During the programme, you'll: - Learn the foundations of insurance, customer service, and sales through hands-on experience and structured training. - Support colleagues in finding suitable insurance solutions for new and existing clients. - Play an active role in achieving sales goals by securing new business opportunities and supporting client renewals. - Develop your written communication skills by preparing professional client correspondence. - Build confidence speaking with clients and insurers, helping to answer queries and gather information, both via email and during phone calls. - Learn how to build long-term relationships and provide excellent customer service. - Support with maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records. - Learn how amendments to insurance policies are managed as well as the policy renewals process. No insurance experience is needed; we'll teach you everything you need to know! You'll be: - A final year or recent school, sixth form or college leaver. - Confident communicating with a wide range of people, including over the phone. - Resilient, take challenges in your stride and enjoy working in fast-paced environments. - Curious and motivated to learn, with a genuine interest in developing your knowledge and skills. - Energised by targets and committed to delivering results, even when situations become challenging. - Someone who enjoys building positive relationships and working with others. - Able to express your ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing. - Comfortable working with numbers and handling basic numerical information accurately. - Organised, dependable and able to manage your time and workload effectively. To be eligible for our apprenticeship, you must: - Have the full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. - Have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years. - Have achieved a grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths. - Not already hold a qualification that significantly overlaps with the content of this apprenticeship.
