## Description

You will join the Product Engineering Team under the Test Group at Synopsys, a dynamic and innovative group dedicated to delivering comprehensive DFT solutions. The team works closely with Solution Architects, feature development teams, and customer-facing engineers to develop and productize next-generation test technologies.

As a Staff DFT Product Engineer, you will be responsible for providing deep technical expertise in test solutions across design planning, implementation, and validation of Synopsys Test products. You will lead MBIST (Memory Built-In Self-Test) implementation and validation, including BIST architecture definition, memory grouping, pattern generation, and silicon bring-up diagnostics analysis and debug.

You will also drive, prototype, and develop next-generation DFT methodologies and test suites to validate Synopsys SMS (Memory BIST) tool features. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver innovative capabilities within Synopsys tools.

Responsibilities:

- Provide deep technical expertise in test solutions across design planning, implementation, and validation of Synopsys Test products.

- Lead MBIST (Memory Built-In Self-Test) implementation and validation, including BIST architecture definition, memory grouping, pattern generation, and silicon bring-up diagnostics analysis and debug.

- Drive, prototype, and develop next-generation DFT methodologies and test suites to validate Synopsys SMS (Memory BIST) tool features.

- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define, develop, and deliver innovative capabilities within Synopsys tools.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant industry experience, or MS with 5+ years in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline.

- Technical excellence and hands-on expertise in RTL design, DFT insertion, ATPG, and end-to-end MBIST solution development.

- Deep understanding of memory architectures and test principles, including fault models, MBIST algorithms, and repair strategies (hard/soft, eFuse-based repair flows).

- Proven track record of delivering Memory BIST solutions for large, complex SoCs with heterogeneous IP integration.

- Experience or exposure to automotive-grade MBIST designs and in-system test (IST) environments is highly desirable.

- Strong working knowledge of industry test and debug standards: IEEE 1149.1 (JTAG), IEEE 1500, IEEE 1687 (IJTAG).

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence teams and engage effectively with customers.
