## Description

WSP is seeking a Senior Engineer - Piping to support its GCC team.

The successful candidate will provide technical support to pre-contract and project delivery teams on matters concerning the design, construction, and operation of cross-country/in-plant power, desalination, and sewage treatment plants and associated equipment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Providing technical support on design, construction, and operation of power, desalination, and sewage treatment plants

- Conducting detailed design of cross-country piping in power and water projects using pipe modeling and analysis software packages

- Preparing basic and detailed piping technical specifications, datasheets, and pipe layout drawings

- Creating and drafting PFDs, BFDs, PIDs, and working on equipment and piping 3D model development

- Developing detailed design drawings incorporating vendor 2D and 3D drawings for gas plant projects

- Developing overall piping plans, general layouts, isometrics, plot plans, and other project-specific details

- Reviewing piping design and sizing calculations and drawings

- Reviewing method statements/test procedures submitted by contractors for site activities related to piping work

- Assisting in establishing, maintaining, and enforcing CAD standards in line with WSP procedures

- Working independently and as part of a large cross-disciplinary team across office locations

- Supporting internal development and continuous improvement activities as required

- Being competent with the Microsoft Office suite of programs

The ideal candidate will have:

- BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering with 8-12 years of experience

- Piping design skills

- AutoCAD Plant3D

- Water management

- Waste rock disposal
