## Description

NVIDIA is seeking an Intellectual Property Security Engineer to join its Hardware IP Security team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in protecting NVIDIA's intellectual property from malicious and accidental misuse.

The engineer will help build secure-by-default workflows and environments, craft training materials, implement security policies and methodologies, and investigate newly discovered threats to NVIDIA's security infrastructure.

Responsibilities include:

- Understanding security industry standards and enabling others to follow those standards

- Defining priorities, planning schedules, and building relationships with other teams

- Collaborating extensively with Security, Hardware Engineering, and IT partners to improve existing practices and policies

- Reducing the impact of security requirements on engineering productivity

Requirements:

- Strong interpersonal skills

- Mentality of improving internal customer productivity and work experience

- Experience leading high-performing technical teams across hardware engineering and/or information security

- Threat-modeling experience, including data flows, trust boundaries, STRIDE-style analysis, and translating findings into mitigations

- Ability to prioritize practical risk reduction in a fast-moving engineering environment

- Experience securing Linux-based on-prem or cloud infrastructure at scale

- Comfortable presenting to and working with senior management

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience

- 8+ years of experience

Preferred qualifications:

- 5+ years as a technical team lead bridging engineering, product, and customers

- Experience securing AI-assisted developer workflows

- Familiarity with EDA workflows, semiconductor design environments, or other large-scale engineering/HPC environments
