As the Futures & Prediction Markets Operations Intern, you will perform essential daily duties to keep our futures and prediction markets business running efficiently. This includes clearing and settlement of futures and prediction markets, futures options trades and event contracts, analyzing trade and position reconciliations, resolving various futures and event contract trading issues, and reviewing several regulatory reports to ensure proper compliance.

You will work on the initial setup of futures and event contract operational processes, tools, documentation, and workflows. Additionally, you’ll be working with various third-party clearing firms, exchanges, and vendors to maintain a proper working relationship and will be working closely with vital internal teams including CX, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Engineering, Financial Crimes, Finance, and Customer Trust and Safety to meet customer needs and expectations.

Responsibilities:

- Review operational reports and assist in reviewing and performing operational tasks

- Assist operations and compliance with audit inquiries

- Support Futures Risk in performing analytical functions to support certain risk functions

- Become a subject matter expert with exposure to leadership and different teams across Robinhood

- Streamline operational and risk workflows

Requirements:

- Currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program in Finance, Business or a related field with an expected graduation date in Winter 2027/Spring 2028

- Curious about the futures market, derivatives, and back office clearing

- A demonstrated history of operational excellence and problem solving

- Strong collaboration and influencing skills to work with colleagues across the company to quickly resolve issues and develop long-term strategies for growth

- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple daily tasks and projects with various deadlines
