## Description

The post holder will play an active part in the management of patients under the care of the department, develop and maintain a high standard of practice, and take an active role in all activities of the department, including teaching and audit.

The job responsibilities include:

- Working with existing consultants and the multi-disciplinary team to provide a high quality well-led service for patients

- Delivering direct clinical care to patients

- Having a continuing responsibility for the care of patients in his/her charge, ensuring safe handover as appropriate

The person specification requires:

- Full registration with the General Medical Council

- Knowledge and experience of working in Dermatology

- Experience of conducting clinical audit

- Demonstrates a commitment to maintaining professional skills and knowledge relevant to the post
