## Description

The Tech Lead Software Engineer works across the entire software development life cycle, including requirements definition, prototyping, detailed design, coding, testing, deployment, and support of production systems.

The role collaborates with technical staff, management, and business operations staff to deliver solutions to complex business problems.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop "best-in-class" engineering solutions with expertise in JavaScript, Python, Java, or C#

- Ensure secure coding practices and stay informed about potential security vulnerabilities

- Work within an agile team and participate in agile ceremonies

- Analyze complex technical problems and devise solutions using programming languages, algorithms, and data structures

- Provide excellent communication and collaboration skills

- Mentor and coach engineering teams on best practices for software architecture, design, and development

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback

- Manage technical aspects of projects, including software development lifecycle and architectural decisions

Requirements:

- Proven experience in leading architecture and design discussions

- Formal engineering certification on one or more cloud platforms

- Experience advocating for new technologies and practices

- Experience coordinating with Security, Dev Ops, Business Operations, and other stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

- 10 years of professional software development experience

- Master’s degree in computer science, programming, or another technical field

- Certification in containerization technology

- Experience with various architecture patterns

- Knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws
