## Description

We are seeking a qualified individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager, Quality Assurance at our plant in Anna, Ohio.

The successful candidate will serve as the Plant QMS Lead and QMS Team Lead, overseeing all QMS and audit-related activities for the plant.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plant QMS Lead:

- Oversees all QMS and audit-related activities for the plant

- Consults and advises departments and leadership on QMS gaps and improvements

- Represents the plant as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on QMS and audit-related matters

- QMS Team Lead:

- Leads the QMS team to ensure compliance with Honda's QMS policies and procedures

- Provides guidance and leadership to the team

- Evaluates and provides direction for best practices

**Key Accountabilities:**

- QMS Related:

- Contributes to the development and implementation of global and regional QMS procedures

- Leads and facilitates plant-level QMS/Quality committee meetings

- Develops and maintains plant-level QMS documents

- Provides technical QMS consultation for all departments

- Auditing Related:

- Leads the preparation and execution of external audits for ISO 9001 certification and Honda compliance audits

- Determines the scope of the internal audit program and develops the annual audit plan

- Manages audit program results and ensures progress toward closure of audit findings

- Reporting Related:

- Summarizes and reports annual audit schedule progress and overall results to top management

- Reports overall plant QMS condition to top management

- Completes BOP Theme and CAP-DO scorecard roll-up, progress monitoring, and gap analysis

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field

- Lead Auditor certification

- Minimum 8 years of manufacturing/quality experience, including 1 year of related QMS and/or auditing experience

- Knowledge of Honda's computer/web-based systems, business plan and theme activity, QMS, and SEQCDM guidelines

- Highly motivated with a positive work ethic and initiative

- Solid communication and presentation skills

- Excellent time management and organization skills

- Flexibility and adaptability to respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities

- Effective leadership skills and strong critical thinking skills
