## Description

Mastercard is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Data Governance & Regulations program team. As a technical lead, you will design, develop, and scale high-quality software solutions, working closely with product, architecture, security, and platform teams.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and enhance software through programming, unit testing, implementation, documenting, and delivery of software solutions.

- Research alternative technical solutions for changing business needs.

- Design, develop, test, and deploy resilient, secure, and performant systems aligned with Mastercard engineering standards and guild practices.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.

- Investigate problem areas and propose solutions.

- Follow the software development lifecycle.

- Document and demonstrate solutions through clear code, comments, and diagrams.

- Prepare and install solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

- Improve operations by conducting systems analysis and recommending changes in policies and procedures.

- Protect operations by keeping information confidential.

- Provide information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing development and service issues.

Requirements:

- Advanced knowledge and understanding of Software Engineering Concepts and Methodologies.

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

- Ability to quickly learn and implement new technologies, frameworks, and tools.

- Experience working in an Agile environment.

- Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, No-SQL DB, JSON, Cloud Technologies (PCF, Kubernetes), Angular 4+.

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
