## Description

At Wasatch Property Management, Maintenance Team Leads oversee the maintenance team and ensure resident satisfaction in apartment communities.

**Job Summary:** As a Maintenance Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in facilities management, bringing technical expertise to every aspect of our apartment communities and providing guidance and training to the maintenance team.

**Responsibilities:**

- Oversee the team of Maintenance Team Members

- Schedule and complete turns

- Complete occupied apartment service requests in less than 3 hours

- Manage the inventory of “ready” apartments to support the community’s marketing and leasing efforts and inspect ready apartments for move-in quality

- Spearhead maintenance initiatives

- Consistently exemplify the Wasatch brand

- Embody an owner's mindset

- Provide team members with necessary resources and support to thrive and succeed, fostering a positive work environment

**Requirements:**

- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on general maintenance experience

- EPA Certified with 3-5 years related experience a plus

- Skill in planning, delegating, and coordinating the work of others

- Analytical problem solver, developing alternatives and implementing effective strategies

- Ability to operate various hand and power tools

- Experience in repairing and or maintaining electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, flooring, carpentry, heating and air systems, pools

- Ability to lead staff and build a team atmosphere

- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask

- Creative and motivating personality

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Superior customer service skills

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on-call responsibility for after-hours emergencies

- Proficient in Microsoft Office

**Pay Range:** The pay range for this position is $22.15 - 29.97 USD per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!
