## Description

We are seeking a part-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team at LDS Hospital BMT Clinic. As a professional caregiver, you will assume responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.

**Position Details**

- Part-time, days position

- Two 9-hour shifts per week

- 1 weekend shift every three weeks from 07:30 - 11:30

- 3 holidays per year required

**Essential Functions**

- Assess patients' physical, social, and psychological status

- Plan and implement individualised care plans

- Evaluate patient responses to interventions

- Provide professional care and promote the nursing profession

**Requirements**

- Current licence to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice

- Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- RNs with less than 12 months of experience must obtain their Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within four years of their hire date

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)

- >1 year of licensed RN experience

**Physical Requirements**

- Ongoing need to see and read information, labels, assess patient needs, operate monitors, identify equipment and supplies

- Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require verbal communication and hearing

- Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment

- Expected to lift and utilise full range of movement to transfer patients
