## Description

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at Anduril Industries. As a Senior Systems Engineer, you will lead systems engineering for a Group 5 aircraft program, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to shape customer needs into air vehicle and subsystem requirements.

Key responsibilities include developing System Engineering artifacts, incorporating input from system safety, software engineering, and other disciplines to shape system architecture, and communicating and managing program risks. You will also lead program teams through systems engineering reviews, including System Requirements Review, Preliminary Design review, and Critical Design Review.

To be successful in this role, you will need a B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering or technical field, with 7+ years of systems engineering experience across the life cycle for an unmanned aerial system (UAS) with a focus on aircraft systems. You should also be familiar with standards and handbooks such as MIL-HDBK-516C, MIL-STD-882E, ARP-4761, ARP-4754A, DO-178C, DO-254, and MIL-STD-881, and have experience with Systems Engineering, Requirements Elicitation and Management, Integration, and Test Activities on complex systems. Additionally, you should be proficient in SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar, and have experience developing various model-based system engineering artifacts.

Preferred qualifications include experience in at least one of the following aircraft areas of expertise: avionics, electrical power systems, communications, propulsion, mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software. You should also be able to obtain and hold a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
