## Description

As a Manager, Data Analysis - Personal Loans at Capital One, you will drive the strategy and implementation of AI-readiness initiatives for the Discover Personal Loans (DPL) business. You will ensure data is centralized, well-documented, and optimized for advanced analytical modeling.

Responsibilities:

- Lead the modernization of monitoring and governance processes by automating manual controls and establishing scalable data abstraction layers.

- Champion data quality and standardization efforts to enhance the usability of core DPL data.

- Leverage analytics to create a customer experience above peers.

- Lead a team of talented junior analysts and mentor them.

- Collaborate across business units and work with top talent in a fast-paced environment.

On a daily basis, you will:

- Mine data to arrive at specific and crucial information.

- Identify and implement process, data, and reporting improvements.

- Work with large and complex databases.

- Improve operational efficiencies and conduct analysis to evaluate processes and tests.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science) with 6+ years of experience in data analytics.

- Master's Degree with 4+ years of experience in data analytics also considered.

- At least 4 years of professional data analysis work experience and 4 years of programming experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics discipline.

- 7+ years of professional data analysis work experience.

- Experience with Python, R, Spark, SQL, Tableau, and AWS services.

- People management and project management experience.
