## Description

We are seeking a Principal Topographical Surveyor to join our Surveying Services team in the North and Midlands regions.

As a Principal Topographical Surveyor, you will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of surveying projects across Northern England, the Midlands, and the wider UK, ensuring technical excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading and managing surveying projects

- Supporting business growth through bid management, proposal writing, and client engagement

- Undertaking and supervising land and engineering surveys

- Processing, reviewing, and quality assuring survey deliverables

- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and integrated surveying solutions

- Mentoring, coaching, and developing junior team members

Requirements:

- Relevant technical qualification in Surveying or a related discipline

- Significant experience in a similar role

- Membership of a recognised professional body (such as RICS or CICES) would be advantageous

- Proficiency in the operation of surveying equipment, including Total Stations, GNSS systems, and terrestrial laser scanners

- Experience in planning, managing, and piloting UAV surveys

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with excellent organisational and self-management skills

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
