This is a salary position leading a highly talented team of die makers in the construction, tryout, and quality revisions to meet Ford die standards.

**Responsibilities**

- Supervise, evaluate, and empower an hourly team that produces stamping dies, and organize workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements.

- Ensure safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work.

- Drive to exceed personal, team, Company goals by holding self & team to high-performance standards through servant leadership.

- Build strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams.

- Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance.

- Lead and direct a team of employees that consistently makes high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets.

- Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency.

- Apply for a "Bias for Action," promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems.

- Identify and analyze problems, develop and implement effective solutions, make timely and well-informed decisions, and adapt to changing circumstances.

- Champion accountability, managing both your own performance and that of the hourly workforce regarding processes and standards.

**Qualifications**

- High School Diploma, Die Maker Journeyman's card preferred.

- 3+ years of supervisory and / or manufacturing experience.

- Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and SMIRT Die Shop.

- Ability to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights and weekends.
