## Description

This role sits in the Chemical Manufacturing & Control (CMC) area of GSK, which focuses on turning validated molecules into reliably manufactured, quality-assured medicines. As a Senior Forward Deployed Engineer, you will be embedded in a team that uses AI to transform GSK's process development globally.

Your main goal will be to build agentic automation across the AI-native redesign of process development in R&D, turning manual workflows into agentic workflows that cover data capture, analysis, and experimental planning. You will work closely with the data analytics team in process science and partner with the R&D Tech teams to foster decision-making within the teams and reduce time to impact.

Key responsibilities include:

- Delivering Proof of Concept (PoC), Proof of Value (PoV), and Minimum Viable Product (MVP) prototypes within a short timeframe (days to weeks)

- Operating AI agent workflows for autonomous prototype delivery

- Using AI coding assistants as the primary mode of building and providing judgment and validation

- Embedding with business units, understanding their domain, and prototyping against real data and workflows

- Packaging proven use cases for handover to the Senior Solutions Engineer

- Contributing to governance, standards, and coaching within the organization

The role requires strong experience in full-stack or AI/ML engineering, proficiency in Python and another programming language, and hands-on experience with agent frameworks and multi-agent orchestration.
