## Description

Join HSBC's Institutional Client Group (ICG) team in Hong Kong as an Associate. The ICG team is a growing segment within HSBC, covering a wide array of institutional clients including banks, insurers, sponsors, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, hedge funds, and public sector entities.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Preparing market intelligence and proposals, undertaking analysis, and reviewing credit applications

- Ensuring client service excellence by responding to customer enquiries and concerns

- Collaborating with internal stakeholders, including product partners, and providing assistance to coverage team members

- Contributing to portfolio management by compiling and implementing individual client plans

- Managing risk, conduct, and controls as a First Line of Defence

To be successful, you will need:

- Knowledge of the industry and exposure to financial clients

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience

- Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products, along with a strong network of contacts

- Language skills: Mandarin, Cantonese, and fluency in English

- Advanced understanding of risk management, risk mitigation, and Client Due Diligence risks

- Excellent team player with strong interpersonal, sales, and communication skills

- Highly motivated and able to work under pressure

- Ability to form effective relationships and exercise influence at senior levels

- Strong understanding of risk management and risk mitigation

- Uphold the highest level of integrity and act as a role model for HSBC values and business principles
