## Description

Amazon's Prime Video team has an opening for a Senior Financial Analyst to support the EMEA operational accounting activities of Prime Video.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable in dealing with ambiguity with a strong ability to prioritise multiple projects and to execute deliverables with excellent communication and to a high standard. The ability to influence stakeholders will also be essential to succeed in this role.

Key job responsibilities:

- Supporting aspects of accounting and reporting process

- End-to-end process ownership to support finance and business partners

- Understand internal control design concepts to assess the effectiveness of controls and design new effective processes and controls for emerging and growing business activities

- Execute judgment and ensure the right decisions are reached to accurately report financial results

- Drive projects, provide accounting guidance and often serve as first point of contact for finance and business partners to resolve issues

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or experience or equivalent experience in finance roles

- Knowledge of one or multiple accounting frameworks (including US GAAP, IFRS, or local GAAP frameworks), with the ability to apply them in day-to-day financial activities

- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

- Experience supporting month-end closing processes and contributing to financial reporting under established procedures

- Experience supporting the implementation of controls or contributing to audits over financial reporting environments

- Experience using financial models, KPIs, and data analysis to support business decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent)

- Knowledge of financial reporting tools (Cognos, Redshift)

- Experience developing financial models in Excel with advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, VBA, Power Query)

- Experience with data analytics platforms (Power BI, Python, SQL, Tableau)
