## Description

We are seeking a Physical Therapist I to join our Outpatient Orthopaedic team at Atrium Health Physical Therapy Gastonia.

As a Physical Therapist I, you will evaluate patients, develop and implement treatment plans, and work with patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

**Responsibilities:**

- Evaluate patients and create personalised care plans

- Gather and interpret data from medical records, physician reports, and patient feedback

- Establish functional goals with patients and provide evidence-based interventions

- Document patient progress, treatment notes, and discharge plans

- Communicate with physicians, referral sources, and clinical staff

- Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehabilitation Technicians as needed

**Physical Requirements:**

- Ability to lift patients, equipment, or supplies up to 20 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally

- Ability to laterally transfer patients up to 100 pounds

- Must be able to demonstrate exercises and activities to patients and caregivers

- Personal Protective Equipment may be required

**Requirements:**

- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy

- Applicable state license for Physical Therapy

- Basic Life Support certification
