## Description

Boeing Defense, Space & Security's Air Dominance division is seeking experienced or senior-level Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineers in Hazelwood, MO.

The role involves supporting new product design, development, integration, and flight testing for the Air Dominance Portfolio, including the F-15, F/A-18, MQ-25, T-7A, and proprietary air dominance programs.

Responsibilities:

- Define GNC mission requirements and ensure quality from system to component level

- Develop and refine complex simulation models using multidisciplinary data

- Implement and test vehicle models and controllers using various software languages

- Design flight control laws using modern control techniques and tools

- Assess and refine control law design using nonlinear analysis

- Validate models against test data to improve simulation accuracy

- Develop supplementary controllers and limiters

- Collaborate with flight simulation and Vehicle Management Systems software engineers

- Support flight simulations, hardware development, and testing

- Lead design reviews, analyses, and component/system testing

- Train and coach others

Basic Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent

- 5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination

- 3+ years of experience in Guidance Navigation and Control engineering

- Experience with Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX

Preferred Qualifications:

- 9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent

- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance or higher

- Experience with simulation, system and component modeling

- Experience with implementing algorithms in real-time systems

- Hardware in the Loop Simulator (HILS) experience

- Prior experience in flight test support
