## Description

At HPE Networking, the Digital Experience & Automation (DEA) team is reimagining how people experience support and services in a digital-first world. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in discovering, evaluating, and scaling solutions that embed intelligent technology into every interaction. Your responsibilities will include:

- Interpreting data and analyzing results using statistical techniques to provide advanced measurement dashboards

- Developing and implementing data collection systems, data analytics, and other strategies to optimize statistical efficiency and quality

- Identifying, analyzing, and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets

- Working with management to prioritize business and information needs and analyzing data to develop conclusions

- Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities via creating long-term monitoring frameworks

- Discovering trends and patterns across customer journeys using clustering, segmentation, and anomaly detection

- Extensive experience with machine learning and data mining algorithms, including Clustering, Regression, Dimensionality Reduction frameworks, and Model Calibration

- Experience with creating and running surveys based on sampling strategies and experiments

- Working with cross-functional teams to build data solutions that impact business decisions

- Partnering with Data Engineering to design scalable data models and canonical schemas

- Designing Power BI dashboards and advanced data visualizations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Master's or PhD degree in business administration, economics, computer science, management information systems, or related field

- Overall 5-7+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Applied Research

- Experience with Generative AI, RAG, and Multi-Turn Evaluation, Statistical modeling, Data Mining, Reporting & Analytics, and Customer Journey models and frameworks

- Strong understanding of data models, ETL pipelines, Python programming, machine learning models, and advanced dashboarding skills

- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets

- Experience working with customer support data, conversational AI logs, and omnichannel analytics
