## Description

Samsara is looking for an Associate Sales Engineer to join their team in the Northeast region remotely. As a Sales Engineer at Samsara, you will be part of a diverse group of technically-minded folks working together to bring their unique connected operations technology to customers.

The ideal candidate would have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline, and 1+ years of experience working with customers in a pre-sales or support capacity.

Responsibilities include:

- Becoming an expert on Samsara products and demonstrating quick and efficient discovery to understand customer needs and answer technical questions

- Being highly available for standard demo/account coverage and temporary technical expertise across the entire Samsara Sales Team

- Understanding how Samsara devices are installed and educating customers on technical aspects of APIs

- Acting as a liaison between Samsara's product and sales teams, translating technical feedback and enrolling customers in beta programs
