## Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in the Oncology department at The Ridgeway Hospital in Swindon. This is a bank role working on an 'as and when required' basis, with a salary of up to £25.00 per hour depending on experience, training, and qualifications.

The successful candidate will deliver safe, effective, and individualised nursing care to Oncology and Haematology patients across various settings. Key responsibilities include:

- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in line with agreed treatment pathways and care plans

- Supporting patients undergoing cancer and haematological treatments, including chemotherapy and transfusions

- Monitoring patients for treatment-related side effects and complications

- Providing holistic care addressing physical, emotional, psychological, and informational needs of patients and their families

- Administering prescribed treatments and medications in line with local policies and national guidance

- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical documentation

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (Adult)

- Experience working in an Oncology and/or Haematology setting, or a strong demonstrable interest with relevant transferable skills

- Sound understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and evidence-based practice

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment
