## Description

Palantir is seeking a Web Design Engineer to join the Communications Team. You will contribute to all aspects of the company's website's frontend design, content model, marketing software integration, and CI/CD publishing pipeline.

The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for detail, design sensibility, and cross-functional communication skills. You will work with TypeScript and React, creating fundamental design principles to help individuals around the company craft frontend experiences.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain Palantir.com

- Build and ship Next.js microsites, from mocks through to production

- Establish and maintain the design system and shared components

- Advise designers and content creators on web, UX, accessibility, and SEO best practices

- Iterate with the Legal team on ongoing requirements

- Work with the Communications team to drive traffic with brand campaigns

Technologies:

- TypeScript and React with Next.js for frontend development

- Combination of open-source and internal technologies

- Fast content delivery

- Industry-standard build tooling, including GitHub and CircleCI

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience with frontend design

- Web fundamentals: accessibility, performance, uptime, SEO

- Frontend proficiency: TypeScript, React, Next.js

- Design/visual competence: Figma fluency, ability to take mocks to production
