## Description

Join Leidos Dynetics as an Aerospace Modeling and Simulation Engineer and contribute to high-profile aerospace projects that drive real-world solutions and advancements. You will develop, integrate, and test models of aerospace systems using your engineering knowledge and research skills.

Responsibilities:

- Develop, integrate, and test models of aerospace systems

- Document model performance and algorithm design

- Collaborate with internal and external team members to deliver innovative solutions

- Engage with stakeholders to define requirements and showcase your work through model demonstrations

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent from an ABET-accredited university

- 2+ years of relevant experience

- Active and current DoD Secret clearance and eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI clearance

- Proficiency with 3DOF/6DOF flight models, MATLAB, Simulink, C++

- Strong understanding of aerospace systems and systems engineering processes

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience using Python

- Experience in autopilot design

- Experience with ballistic missiles, air-launched missiles, or hypersonic vehicles

- AFSIM or ITASE experience
