## Description

As a 3rd year pharmacy intern at CVS Health, you play a critical role in ensuring a safe and effective Retail Pharmacy work environment that delivers exceptional care to each patient.

You will work under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and contribute to various aspects of pharmacy operations, including:

- Patient safety

- Pharmacy professional practice

- Regulatory requirements

- Quality assurance

- Customer service

- Inventory management

- Workflow management (excluding final prescription verification)

Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Leading with empathy and compassion for patients, customers, caregivers, and colleagues

- Seeking new ways to grow, collaborate with others, and deliver better outcomes

- Aligning others around the company's purpose and gaining support and commitment

- Facilitating a team culture that promotes caring, energy, enthusiasm, and pride

To qualify for this role, you must:

- Be accepted into or actively enrolled in an ACPE-accredited college or school of pharmacy

- Have 0-3 years of relevant work experience

- Possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

- Have strong communication and presentation skills

- Be able to complete all required training within state guidelines and required timeframe

- Be able to have regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends

- Be mobile and able to remain upright for extended periods of time

- Be able to lift, scan, and bag items

- Have finger dexterity and precision control

- Be able to stoop to a considerable degree and require full use of lower extremities and back muscles

- Have visual acuity for activities such as transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and reading

- Be able to orally communicate information and instructions to colleagues and customers

Preferred qualifications include:

- Immunization eligibility

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

The typical pay range for this role is $20.00 - $23.75.
