## Description

We are seeking a Medical Assistant Resident to join our team at Zion Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, located at Intermountain Health St George Regional Hospital.

As a Medical Assistant Resident, you will work in a clinical setting under the supervision of clinicians, nurses, and experienced medical assistants. You will be responsible for providing care to patients with acute and chronic needs in an ambulatory clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide patient care under the direction of clinicians

- Communicate effectively with patients through various modalities, including telephone and in-person interactions

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers

- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program, or 1 year of Medical Assistant Experience, or current RN/LPN license
