## Description

The Senior Operations Manager will lead the Operations function of a SEEK Pass sub-domain, comprising 2-5 cross-functional squads focused on solving user Jobs to be Done (JTBD) related to digitalised identity and trusted information.

The role involves leading a team, operationalising processes, and scaling operations within a start-up environment. The ideal candidate will have experience leading a team, with a proven ability to effectively coach, train, and manage people, and create a high-performance environment.

Key responsibilities include:

- Leading the Operations function of a SEEK Pass sub-domain

- Developing deep domain knowledge of operations, synthesising operational and data-driven insights to influence prioritisation and decision-making

- Ensuring consistency and optimal efficiency in sub-domain operations areas

- Leading the hiring and onboarding of new operations team members

- Staying informed about and ensuring ongoing compliance with relevant laws, obligations, and standard operating procedures

The team is a cross-functional scale-up that operates as a distinct business unit in SEEK, employing over 80 people across software engineering, product, operations, and commercial teams in Melbourne, Sydney, and Kuala Lumpur.

The role requires a customer-focused mindset, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and teams.
