## Description

We are seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to join our AI Trust and Governance engineering team at Salesforce. As a senior/lead IC, you will bring hands-on technical leadership across architecture, platform innovation, and large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

- Design and build scalable, cloud-native services that power Salesforce's AI Trust and Governance mission

- Set the technical direction, mentor engineers, tackle thorny technical challenges, and raise the bar for the whole team

- Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and platform partners to drive solutions and improvements

- Investigate issues through debugging and root cause analysis to diagnose defects

- Guide MTS/AMTS engineers through mentorship and code/design reviews, elevating the team's overall craft

Requirements:

- BS or higher degree in Computer Science

- 4+ years industry experience in system or database internals programming

- 4+ years technical leadership in architecture and design of enterprise server platform or systems

- Deep expertise with distributed systems and consensus algorithms

- Experience with highly concurrent multi-threaded/multi-process data structures and design

- Strong Java or C programming skills

Nice to Have:

- Strong oral and written communication skills, with proven cross-team collaboration experience

- Comfortable juggling multiple projects, hitting deadlines, and rolling with shifting priorities

- Experience with the Salesforce platform (Apex, LWC, Data Cloud), or the hustle to learn it fast

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Agentforce or Agent Builder

Salary Range: $172,500 - $260,100 annually (typical base salary range)
